Computer Science and Engineering
Computer Engineering is one of the most promising branch that deals with design of hardware, software and communications systems The primary objective of the Computer Engineering program is to prepare graduates to pursue careers related to Software Development, Testing, Network Administration, Database Administrator. It emphasizes on latest technology skills required for entry level professionals in computer industry, including systems analysis and design. The students are also trained on various application of IOT, Embedded System, use of open source software, developing Apps, Developing Games and other application of Data Science, Ethical hacking, BigData etc.
Computer Engineers have career opportunities with reputed MNCs in the area of Software Development, Project management , Network Admin, Software Testing, Human Resources, public and private sector R&D, computer programming and analysis, integration of computer systems, administration of computer systems, administration of complex networks.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OUTCOME (PEO):
PEO1: Graduates will be in computing profession as experts in solving hardware/software engineering problems by their depth of understanding in core computing knowledge or will be pursuing research leading to higher degrees.
PEO2: Graduates will demonstrate creativity in their engineering practices including entrepreneurial and collaborative ventures with strategic thinking, planning and execution.
PEO3: Graduates will communicate effectively, recognize and incorporate societal needs and constraints in their professional endeavors, and practice their profession with regard to legal and ethical responsibilities
PO1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
PO7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
